JB Woodworking was created to turn forgotten furniture into legacy pieces that can be passed on from generation to generation. We take great care to create products of high quality using materials that others have discarded or no longer have a need for. The idea is to give a second life to wood and recycle as much as possible. With this in mind every piece we make will be unique and may carry over features or characteristics from the original piece. This not only gives you a unique piece but also a story to tell of where it came from. Each piece is sent with a picture of what the original product was that your individual piece came from. We re-use as much of the original product as possible. Instead of cutting around holes or features in the wood, we incorporate them into the piece itself. For our custom build products, you have the option of providing the piece of furniture that you want repurposed. Do you have an old piece of furniture that is sentimental but broken or doesn’t meet your needs anymore? Why not have us turn that piece into something that you can use and still leave some features that remind you of all the fond memories you have of the original piece.
That is part of the legacy mission of our JB Woodworking items. The legacy Rugged Soul desires to leave is the heart behind it as well. As we grow and develop, we'll also hold events and workshops for people of all ages to take part in woodworking activities! Josh has a heart for working with youth, especially those who don't have men of great influence in their lives. We desire for them to have the chance to learn hands on skills and new interests, and through it, to also build valuable relationships in which they can learn golden life lessons as well. It's not just about building community, it's being there for those who don't know where to turn for good relationships and good advice when life is stable, and when life is falling apart.
We got cozy!
We enjoyed delicious coffee, amazing food, great company, and complimentary massages from Tristan Stein // Meraki Soul Care!
Seriously, look at this food:
Needless to say, we sure had a great time!
Relaxing is more than not being busy.
Laughter is more than being carefree.
Friendship is more than not being alone.
Another reason Rugged Soul loves to do the various things we do!!!
Join us on Facebook and Instagram to meet up with us in the near future!
It started at Rejoice Women's Retreat at Cannon Beach. Good things happen at the beach, right?! Well, for us it did! I was asked by a sweet friend, Laurie Nichol, to share at the dinner table about Rugged Soul. As I shared, Laurie ended up asking if she could hire me to bring lawn games, facilitate the games, as well as decorate tables and her patio area. Of course I said YES!
Tristan is a licensed massage therapist (#17390) at Meraki Soul Care. She is more than a businesswoman doing great at what she does, she is a neat lady who cares for people and their well-being.
Rugged Soul is excited to be teaming up with Meraki Soul Care and pleased to welcome Tristan Stein to our Rugged Soul Family!
Follow and Like our page on Facebook because we will be posting our first ladies event with Meraki Soul Care!!!
(there will be food and friends involved!!)
